Yalata Aerodrome
Aerodrome Location
The Yalata Aerodrome is geographic located at S31 28.24 E131 49.49, with an elevation of 208 FT AMSL.
Landing Fees
Landing fees are applicable to all non-medical aircraft utilising Yalata Aerodrome. A flat fee of $48 is charged, and please note that there is no overnight parking available unless prior arrangements have been made. Payment and landing must be pre-arranged at least five business days prior to the scheduled flight.
Ground Communication and Aerodrome Lighting
Yalata Aerodrome is unmanned and features hard-wired, pilot-activated lights on radio frequency 119.6 MHz. The light sequence runs for 30 minutes, plus an additional 10 minutes with the Wind Indicator (located on the southern side of the runway, west of the apron and taxiway), flashing prior to lights out.
Pilots are required to broadcast on CTAF 126.7 when approaching, which is also monitored by ground staff when conducting maintenance on the aerodrome. NOTE – This channel is not monitored when staff are absent from the aerodrome.
Runway Strip & Taxiway
Runway is sealed at 1200m long and 18m wide, and all shoulders gravelled to 23m. Aligned 109 degrees magnetic.
Sealed taxiway connects the eastern runway end to the apron area on the southern side and dimensions are 90m x 10.5m wide.
Ground Services
Fuel services are not available at Yalata Aerodrome.

Before proceeding with the landing fee payment, ensure you have received landing permission from Yalata Community. For the necessary approvals, please contact us at contact@yalata.com.au, allowing at least five business days prior to the proposed landing.
